Choose your level

What you'll achieve

If you go through the four levels, your cat will have this list of skills for daily life and special situations.

Beginner

  • Recognize his name and look at you when he hears it
  • Sit and come when called
  • Use the litter box correctly from day one
  • Use the scratching post instead of furniture
  • Accept the carrier and brushing without struggle

Intermediate

  • Stay put even when someone walks by
  • High-five, roll over and jump on cue
  • Wait patiently before eating or going out
  • Stay off counters and tables when told
  • Play without biting or claws out

Advanced

  • Come when called from any room or perch
  • Stay put for 5+ minutes at distance
  • Full social skills with unknown cats
  • Nose work and search games
  • Walk safely outdoors with a harness and leash

Professional

  • Behaviour modification for reactive or fearful cats
  • New-cat introduction therapy and stress reduction
  • Service, medical alert or emotional support cat
  • Cat shows and exhibitions: handling under a judge
  • Film and advertising: obedience under camera
